Therapy (PT, OT, SLP), RT, Radiology, Lab, Surgical Services
What does it take to become an allied/therapy traveler with Aequor?
- 1-2 years’ specialty experience with recent specialty experience in the last 12 months
- Active, unencumbered license or certification (depending on profession)
- Minimum of two professional supervisor references
Do I need to be licensed?
Licensing depends on your profession but in general, most assignments require you to have a current, active license in the state for which you are applying. In some cases where state licensing is not required for your profession, current national certification must be active and in good standing. Many states participate in compact agreements that reduce regulatory barriers to interstate mobility and cross-state practice. For more information about state licensing and certification requirements, visit our Licensing Map that includes links and details by discipline.
How long are assignments?
Typically, 13 weeks but some may be shorter, longer or offer opportunities for extension.
How do I find housing?
There are multiple ways travelers secure housing. One of the most important considerations is to do your research before committing to a lease.
