This globally recognized certification is a testament of Aequor's commitment to consistently deliver high quality software solutions. CMMi is a process model that evaluates the maturity of the software processes in organizations. This certification is given by Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI).
The CMMI Standard Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) method was used that involved examination of programs, interviews with program leaders, quality assurance and configuration management personnel. A Level 3 assessment required Aequor to demonstrate an organizational focus for software development across a representative number of programs.
The appraisal was conducted by the SEI partner - CyberQ on eleven different software programs. The successful appraisal indicated that the Aequor software development, maintenance and support processes are well defined, documented, managed and used across the organization. The assessment also verified that Aequor meets the goals of all key process areas of level 3 certification.
